US City Branding
Redesigning the city brand of Astoria starts with researching its history, culture, and community values. Understand how the locals see their local identity and aesthetics. I I looked into the current branding to identify what feels welcoming and what seems dated. Develop a new visual identity, including a logo, color palette, and typography that reflect Astoria’s character and environment. I was inspired by traditional vintage coast designs, and strived to adapt them to illustrative language. I created a brand guide to ensure consistency. Creating a stationary set and a booklet that compliment each other but aren't a complete copy of one another.
