My passion for ceramics is still new, but it has quickly become something deeply meaningful to me. Working with clay feels special because of its physical, hands-on nature. I thoroughly appreciate the connection to the earth and the physical demand to even start creating. There’s something grounding about shaping something with my own hands and watching it transform through each stage. Ceramics allow me to slow down, connect with the process, and create something lasting. The tactile nature of the material feels too important to honor through traditional ware types, sculpture application speaks to me prominently.
